I just love bananas and I try to make recipes with bananas but my family eats them up so quick that they never get to the point of being over ripe.
I was able this time to get me 3 banana that I could use to make some banana bread. This is one of my favorite breads. I found this recipe below on Pinterest and have been using since. I hope you try and enjoy.
Grandma’s Banana Bread
- 3-4 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup / 75 g melted butter
- 1 cup / 200 g sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups / 190 g all-purpose flour

Heat oven to 350F, Gas 4, 180 C

Mix butter and smashed bananas together

Add sugar, egg and vanilla

Add baking soda and salt and mix well

Add flour and give it a final mix

Pour in to a greased 4 x 8 inch loaf pan

Bake for 1 hour
