Hi Guys, here is an easy summer salad that goes with just about everything. We did some grilling over our vacation and this is one of the salads I made to go along with our burgers and chicken.
You should make this the day before so it can rest overnight in the refrigerator before serving it. You can add in any ingredients or take away that is the beauty of this type of salad it is so interchangeable.
1 ½ cup mayo
1 or 2 tbsp. Vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tsp Sugar
¼ cup Diced ham
½ of jalapeno diced (depending how hot you want it)
¼ cup Diced green onion
Salt and pepper
1/3 cup Bacon bits
2 or 3 stalks of Celery
Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions. Let macaroni cool and then add in the Mayo and mustard making sure the macaroni is completely coated.
No add in the remaining ingredients mixing them well. Taste for salt and pepper at this point.
Cover with plastic wrap and set in fridge for 2 hours but overnight is better.
