Crock Pot Apple Sauce

Hi Guys, here is another great simple and easy recipe homemade apple sauce.  For this recipe you can choose to use any kind of apple I choose Macintosh apples for their sweetness.

This recipe did not take long to make and it came out amazing.  This is something that I will be making all the time for my family.  My apple sauce is red because I used the peels of the apple as well, but you can peel your apple before cooking them.  I also have a video up on this showing exactly what I did.   I hope you try this recipe and let me know what you think.

Ingredients

3 cups of apples
1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Steps

Cut apples into medium size pieces and place into crockpot along with the sugar and water.  If using cinnamon add it in at this time.  Give it a mix and cook on high for 1 to 2 hours or until apples are soft.
Once apples are soft you can use an emulsion blender or put into a blender and purée.
Store in airtight container and put in fridge.
