Crockpot Mashed Potatoes

I just discovered this. It makes mashed potatoes even easier.

I thought I give this a try for dinner. It was just too hot to cook on the stove so I put the potatoes in the crockpot along with milk and butter and just let it cook. I put it on low for about 5 hours and they were done.

Ingredients I used was:

1 to 2 pounds of potatoes

1/2 stick of butter (1/3 add for cooking)

1 1/4 cup milk ( 1 cup for cooking)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked on low for 5 hours stirring occasionally until the potatoes were soft.

I added in the rest of the butter and milk and mashed the potatoes until the lumps were gone.

This was so easy. Dinner was done without standing over a hot stove.
