Christmas Decorations

We got all of the fall decorations down now, and now beginning to get the Christmas decorations up.  There is still more to put up, but this is a good start for now.

The two glass vases I had made.  Second DIY project I did, and I am really starting to like this crafting thing.

Husband Project

My husband has been wanting a fish tank for some time now, and well he finally got it.  It took him a couple of hours to get it all completed but it is done.  Its a 65 gallon tank with a huge pump and filter system like OMG why so big.  I guess its a man thing huh.  He will be getting tropical fish for the tank probably next week so excited for them to come.  It is a gorgeous tank I do say so.

Planner Spread

These weeks are going by so fast.  We are already moving to December and soon Christmas will be here.  Where is the time going?

This is my layout for this week, as well as the December monthly.  The weekly spread I used a shop from Easy #Cricket Paper Co.  I love this shop, the stickers are the perfect size for my happy planner.

Left Overs

Not sure what everyone does with their Thanksgiving left overs, but in my home, we have turkey salad, my turkey soup, which is on my blog.

This year we are also making relleno de papa or potato ball.  We will be using up the left over turkey and mashed potatoes we had.  You can fill this with what ever meat filling you like  but traditionally this is filled with ground beef.  The meat would be seasoned with spanish seasonings like Sazon, Adobo, Safrito with also put garlic and onion powder.  Relleno’s are a Preto Rician street food and it is just so delicious.

This is my brunch today.  Yes it is on a paper plate.  I did not want to wash anymore dishes.

Some More Thanksgiving Pics

I finally got all my pictures uploaded to the computer today, so I am posting them today.    This has been a very busy holiday for our family, but we love it.  To be with family and friends it the best thing in the whole world.

My husband is always in charge of the turkey.  What ever he does always works so that has been his job each Thanksgiving.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, my table setting was the Pioneer Women’s set.  They are so beautiful don’t you think?

It’s the Day Before

Thanksgiving and all through the house, not a potato was peeling throughout our entire house
Waiting is my family for this day to come, and with sheer excitement for dinner to be done
Dinner will be great and tummies will be full. With the football game playing and drinks to refill
What more can you ask for on this wonderful Thanksgiving Day
