Thanksgiving is coming OMG this is just the one and only holiday that I love and get so excited for. I love the cooking side of it, and all the wonderful smells that come from the kitchen. I used to watch my father get everything together for Thanksgiving. He would wake up at 5am just to put the turkey on. First he would start the stuffing. He would sauté the celery and onions in butter just until they were tender. Once it was done, he would finish assembling the stuffing. The smell was just amazing from the cook vegetables and poultry seasoning. He would stuff the bird with his stuffing and all I could do was now wait to that bird was done. I learned so much from my father when I was growing up, and now when I cook my family this same dinner, the smells just bring back so many wonderful memories.
