Italian Beef Sandwiches

These sandwiches are great.  They are easy to make and you won’t want to buy these anymore from a restaurant.  Give them a try and let me know what you think.



1 beef roast (3 to 5 pounds)

2 cans of Au Jus sauce

1/2 jar (16 Oz) sliced pepperoncini peppers, with juice

1 packet dry good seasons Italian dressing mix

1 tsp. fresh minced garlic

2 cups water

2 cups beef broth

1 bay leaf

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. Onion powder

1 package French rolls

Salt and pepper to taste


Season the meat with the garlic and onion powder and let set for 30 minutes.

Now put the meat along with the remaining ingredients into a crock pot and let it cook on low for about 6 hours.

Once done put the crock pot on warm and start to make some sandwiches.

Note: use the juice to dip the bread.
