This recipe is so easy and quick to put together. Its really less than 30 minutes to prep this meal and the crockpot does the rest.

Now for this recipe I used chuck roast but you can change this meat out for whatever you and afford or what your family prefers.

I used safrito in this so if you want to know how to make that I have it posted on my website as well as my Youtube channel Ruthcancook.

I hope you give this a try and feel free to let me know if you liked it or what modifications you made.

Add roast to crockpot. Then in a large measuring cup add safrito with some of the chicken broth and stir well. This is so the safrito resolves some. Pour that into the crockpot along with the remaining broth.
Add the onions, beans and seasonings. Stir well
Put crockpot on low for 6 to 8 hours or hight 4 to 6 hours
When it's done shred meat and put back into crockpot and give it a good mix.
