Crockpot French Onion Beef

Hi Guys, this is a easy and delicious crockpot dinner. There are so many version of this recipe floating on the internet that I decided to make it my own.

This recipe is not only a dump and go crockpot meal but it is also budget friendly. If you know me I am always tying to save money any way I can, so this recipe fit perfectly in my budget.

Now when I try new recipes I am alway worried that my family won’t like them. When cooking something new I always make sure that it is ingredients that my family knows, likes and or will be willing to try. This recipe was a big hit with my family and will be on rotation now.

Crockpot French Onion Beef

Great dump and go recipe your family will love

Cook Time 5 hours

Equipment

  • Crockpot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Beeg stew meat
  • 1 onion soup mix package
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 can french onion soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 tsp minched onion
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup french fried onion for topping

Instructions
 

  • Add in the beef along with all the other ingredients excluding the French fried onion that is for the topping.
    Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or high 4 hours depending on your crockpot.   
    Once beef is done give the sauce a taste to see if it needs salt or pepper. 
    Server over rice, potatoes or noodles
