Easy Steak Quesadilla

Last night we did a quick and easy dinner. Quesadilla are such an easy thing to make. We normally have either chicken or cheese, but this time we had steak and it’s was delicious. This definitely is our new go to quesadilla.

I was worried that the steak and cheese ratio trying to make sure they were even and it was. the seasonings on the steak was a home run in the flavor department.

Ingredients

Shaved steak 14 oz

1 1/2 tsp onion powder

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp adobo

1 1/2 tsp Sazon complete

2 cups Chihuahua cheese

Package if tortilla (of your choice)

Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

In a medium size pan cook the steak until done. While the steak is cooking add in all of the seasonings and stir well.

Once steak is done begin assembling the quesadillas. Using a skillet or sandwich press put down the bottom tortilla and begin layering. Layer them with the steak and top with the cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are done.

And you now have a great tasting quesadilla.

When making quesadillas you can use different kinds of tortillas. We tend to only use flour or corn but they’re spinach tortillas, tomato tortillas and more. Quesadillas don’t have to be boring just use your imagination.

The ingredients are not that expensive when you break down the cost to make them at home verses getting them at a restaurant. This meal cost about 20 dollars to make, but do the math between 4 people and it comes to about 5 dollars per person. Which is less than what a restaurant would charge you for 1 quesadilla around 8 dollars.

I do have a video up on my YouTube channel so go check that out.
