Potato salad is one of those side dishes that just goes well with anything. It’s not a hard dish to make and can be made many different ways.
Potato salad uses basic ingredients that you would normally have on hand.

Depending on how you would like it, you can add herbs to it and a tangy sauce instead of mayonnaise. The relish and mustard are also ingredient’s that can be modified to your preference. In our potato salad we like dill pickle relish instead of sweet relish.

Potato salad is a great side dish for grilling out, family gatherings and more. It doesn’t take long to make it and it tastes great.

Homemade Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp Dill Relish
- 1 med onion chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 5 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Start by peeling the potatoes and then cutting them into bit size pieces. Once done put them In a pot of water and cook on a medium high heat until tender. While potatoes are cooking chop the onion into small pieces and set aside.When potatoes are done let them cool for 30 minutes or so before adding in the other ingredients.Then when the potatoes are cool add in the mayonnaise, mustard, onion, salt and pepper and give that a good mix. Taste for seasoning and put in fridge for a few hours to chill or overnight which is better.
