Hi guys, this recipe was posted some months back on my site, but I finally made a video on this amazing soup.
This recipe is something that I put together after looking at several recipes on potato soup. This is one of many easy soup recipes that I have and I do hope you try this. So head over to my YouTube channel Ruthycancook and check out how I made this wonderful recipe.
Hi guys I have another easy recipe and it’s using the crockpot. I love chicken soup but not all the time I like making the broth from scratch, so this way I get home made chicken soup without the fuss.
I also have a video for this recipe on my channel ruthycancook so check it out.
I hope you enjoy and give this recipe a try.

2 chicken breast
6 cups water
4 chicken bouillon cubes

Hi guys, here is a very simple quick recipe for you. This recipe is just something I through together with what I had on hand and it was delicious.
This is great for those nights when you come home from work and just don’t wast to really cook. This is so easy to make that you can do it after a long day of work. If you are like me I normally have some Italian sausage already cooked in my freezer to make cooking a little easier. Just take it out and defrost in microwave.
If I can some mushrooms I would have added those in to. They would have made the dish.
Ingredients
½ cup marinara sauce (I used Newmens)
1 package Italian sausage (sliced into pieces)
½ to 1 lb. spaghetti
1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese for topping
Steps:
Over medium heat cook the Italian sausage until no longer pink. Put on paper towel lined plate and set aside.
Cook the pasta according to package direction and drain. Put heat on low and add the pasta into the pan the Italian sausage was cooked in. Give the pasta a stir to pick up any of the bits of flavor from pan. Then add in the diced tomatoes and marinara sauce and stir well. Now add in the Italian sausage and stir that in. Turn off heat and dinner is done.
Serve with French bread and top with Parmesan cheese
Hi Guys, this recipe I shared some time ago, and I am reposting this because I now have a video up on my channel for this recipe. This recipe is from: https://lovefoodies.com/grandmas-banana-bread/ so go check out her website. She has a lot of fabulous recipes.
I love making banana bread. This is one of my favorite ways to use up those overripe bananas.
Hi guys, its been a little while since a put out a recipe sorry about that. Life sometimes just gets to busy, but I have a recipe for you to try.
This recipe is easy and so delicious that you will just have to try. This is great as leftovers and lunches. I wouldn’t freeze any leftovers due to the heavy cream that is in this recipe. Cream from what I have read on don’t freeze well, so if you want this to be a freezer meal don’t add in the cream until day of cooking.
I do have a video up on this as well on my channel Ruthycancook so go check that out too. I hope you give this a try and enjoy.
Ingredients:
3 or 4 chicken breast or tenders
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. grainy mustard
3 tbsp. honey
½ heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
Cornstarch slurry
1 tsp. cornstarch
½ cup water
Steps:
Seasoning chicken with the garlic and onion powder and set aside.
Measure out all the other ingredients so chicken can marinade a few minutes.
Add into the crockpot the chicken, both of the mustards, honey and chicken broth.
Let this cook for about 4 to 5 hours on low. Once the chicken is fully cooked, add in the heavy cream and give it a good mix. If the sauce is not thick enough add in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 15 minutes.
Plate over Jasmine rice
Note: if you would like this to be sweeter just add in more of the honey.
Hi guys this recipe comes from http://www.aprettylifeinthesuburbs.com and is delicious. I was looking on Pinterest for a lemon cake since that’s my husband favorite flavor and I found this recipe.
This is an easy recipe to make. This recipe came with a glaze but I did use it. I just put some powder sugar over the cake and it was delicious.
Hi guys this recipe comes as a request from my husband. He’s been asking for some meatball subs so I made them.
This is an easy recipe to put together even after work. You can use frozen meatballs instead of homemade if you want another short cut for this recipe.
I also have a video on my channel Ruthycancook so go that out. I hope you give this recipe a try and enjoy.
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 jar of marinara sauce
Sub sandwich bread
Steps
Pre-heat oven 350 degrees
Make the meatballs start by adding the ground beef to a bowl then add in all the seasoning and egg and mix well.
Put enough hamburger in your hand to make a 1 1/2 inch meatball and roll it until it forms a ball. When done put meatball in a baking dish and continue the process until all the ground beef is finished.
Now pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs and top with the mozzarella cheese.
Put in oven and cook for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and make your subs.
